A few things to keep in mind:
COSTUMES- I’m sending in my orders this week. If you need something that I’m not aware of, let me know TODAY! It usually takes until Thanksgiving to get the costumes back from the seamstress. As soon as I have them I will give them to you. Please try them on your child to make sure they fit and then put them away. We want them to stay nice and shiny new for our performances.
Performances- Please look at the Calendar of events for dates and times of additional performances. We will wear our regular costume for all performances. Please remember that all tiny tune girls need black ballet shoes and all Harmonic tune girls need black jazz shoes (tie or slip-on).
Cold and Flu Season- I always want all of my friends to make every effort to be to class each week. However, cold and flu season is upon us and I also like my friends to be healthy. If your child is running a fever or is not feeling well, keep them home. All of my kids are super smart and they’ll be able to catch up. It’s no fun to be sick during class.
T-shirts- I was all excited to design my own T-shirts but TaVaci got new T-shirts and I like them. Here is the new T-shirt.
I think they’re fun. If you would like to order a shirt for your child they are $12. Please comment at the bottom of this post with your name and childs size. Then you can just add $12 to your tuition.
Specialties- One of our specialties is a boy only song. We have 2 harmonic tunes boys. They are going to need some help. So, CALLING ALL DADS AND BROTHERS. If you would like to participate in a super funny song for our concert please let me know. It’s a play off of the song “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen”. We will sing “The Restroom Door Said Gentlemen”. It’s pretty funny. Let me know if you’ll help me out. You don’t have to have a son in the song, although you will receive extra heat from me, you just have to be able to come to a few practices. Pretty Please with a cherry on top?
We will also have a tiny, harmonic, & boomwhacker specialty. I will send home a paper with your child in a few weeks if they will be singing an extra song.
Performance fee & Prop fee- Novembers tuition statement will have the performance fee ($20) and prop fee ($3-10 still finalizing) with it. Just wanted to give you a heads up.
Oct. 6- tuition/costume fee due
Oct. 20- practice CD goes home
Oct. 27- solo try-outs (during class time)
Nov. 3- tuition/prop/performance fee due
Specialty rehearsals begin
Speaking parts go home
Nov.24- No TaVaci- Thanksgiving
Dec. 1- tuition due
Dec. 3- Breakfast with Santa (Harbins Elementary) Times TBA
